CFDA Awards 2017: the Council of Fashion Designers of America
Last night in New York were held the 2017 Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Awards. Here are the best and worst looks on the red carpet.
Sara Sampaio looked so gorgeous in this long sapphire blue dress with a perfect skyline, designed by J.Mendel.
On another note though, Amanda Peet wears an unflattering floral dress that looks like it has been made using old drapes from her grandmother’s place. Fail.
Chic and elegant, Diana Kruger wears a blue Monse gown with just enough gold sequins to make it fancy and not look cheap.
We see Gigi Hadid with a perfect hair and make up. She looks stunning in this creme outfit.
Differently than Amanda Peet’s floral dress, here is one that actually rocks. This pink floral Jac Jagaciak wears is just done the right way and is not extra at all. The dress was designed by Kobi Halperin.
The one who flopped the look is Karlie Kloss. Even though she looks amazing, this outfit is definitely not red carpet appropriate, but would look great at an afterwork lounge our in a New York club. At least she was ready for the afterparty!
Janelle Monae is probably one of our favorite from last night. Her ensemble by Christian Siriano is modern, unique and perfect for the occasion. Great taste!
Please call the fashion police now. DI Mondo’s outfit, which is creative for sure, is just too extravagant. Between the feathers and the sheer pants, this would be more of the LA appropriate cabaret party outfit, not a New York fashion red carpet one.
Heidi Klum on the other side, looked so great with this white deep skyline dress. With that discreet tan, she definitely rocked the red carpet!
What do you guys think? Which one is your favorite? #JOMSY
